In conjunction with the Summit, EMA makes a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Cystic Fibrosis is a disease that impacts over 33,000 people in the US and Canada. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation funds more CF research than any other organization. Through their efforts, the life expectancy of a child with CF has doubled in the last 30 years.
