2014 Los Angeles Entertainment Summit July 21 - 23, 2014


Mark Your Calendar! The 2014 Los Angeles Entertainment Summit (LAES) will be held July 21-23. The summit will continue to be focused on two days of business-to-business meetings between home entertainment and video game content producers and retailers. And we are pleased to announce that most of the companies that participated in the business meetings this year have already committed to attending the 2014 Summit.

Based on the enthusiastic feedback we received, the Summit will again be held at the Hyatt Regency Century City and feature plenty of networking opportunities at the Golf Tournament (to be held once more at Trump National Golf Club), the Industry Cocktail Party, and the popular Casino Night on a studio lot.

The 2014 LAES will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

We are pleased that we could provide, through Business Meetings, the Tech Tour, and The Knowledge Exchange, a forum for all sectors of the home entertainment and video game industries to come together and discuss today’s business needs and the impacts, challenges, and opportunities of new technology and consumption models. With more than 1,000 attendees, this year's event was more than twice as large as last year's, and included greater representation of the breadth of studios, video game publishers, retailers, distributors, and companies that support those sectors. 

And we were pleased that so many of you attended the various networking events to meet industry peers and make new business connections.

We have received positive feedback on the Summit, and we hope the event met your expectations as well.

We are delighted to report that this year's LAES raised $600,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Thank you for your participation and generosity.

Thank you for your support of the Los Angeles Entertainment Summit to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This invitation-only Summit takes place July 22-24 and includes a golf tournament, welcome reception, two days of business meetings and a casino night event.

For companies participating in the Summit, this site provides information about booking hotel rooms, business meeting hours, the golf tournament, evening events and details about the silent and live auctions.

The site will provide updated information on the events, business meeting hours, participating companies as well as new auction and raffle items.

All of the proceeds from the event will be contributed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a founding partner in this event. CFF will directly offer numerous donation opportunities at the golf and poker tournaments and will present much of the cystic fibrosis story at the event. Business Meetings at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza

July 23 - 24, 2013

The Summit has two days of business meetings with networking meal events at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, Los Angeles.

  • Studio and Game Publisher Sponsors will have dedicated meeting rooms.  They will be provided with a two-day meeting schedule comprised of one-on-one meetings with retailers and distributors.
  • Video and game retailers and distributors will be provided with a one-on-one meeting schedule with studios and publishers.
  • Tiers One and Two Sponsors are invited to use dedicated display space in the meal event ballroom to highlight their products or services.
  • Networking breakfasts and lunches are provided each day.
  • Knowledge Exchange: "STATE OF THE INDUSTRY" (slides found here) and "SUPPLY CHAIN EXCELLENCE"
