EMA's Anti-Piracy Initiatives

EMA is committed to taking a proactive leadership role in fighting piracy, both on its  own and in conjunction with others, and in 2004, EMA's Board of Directors  unanimously approved a resolution that affirms the commitment of the home entertainment industry's trade association to fighting video piracy through consumer education, litigation, legislation, technology, and lawful alternatives.

Anti-Piracy P-O-P Material Available Now!
Be part of the effort to educate and remind consumers that unauthorized  downloading of movies is not only morally wrong - - it is a crime! Reminding  consumers that internet piracy is a crime is having positive results, but we need to keep the message strong and repeat it often. The MPAA and EMA are providing posters, counter cards and window clings at no charge to all retailers who request them.

Retailer Losses Due to Internet Piracy
