Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Suyin Lim, VUBIQUITY’s Michele Edelman, and Amazon’s Matt Hill Also Elected as Officers

ENCINO, CA (August 6, 2018) … Cameron Douglas, Vice President of Home Entertainment for Fandango’s on-demand video streaming service, FandangoNOW, has been elected chairman of the Entertainment Merchants Association (EMA), the national trade association for the home entertainment industry. Douglas replaces Jonathan Zepp, Head of Worldwide Movies & TV Partnerships, Google Play.

Joining Douglas as officers are:

  • Vice Chair – Suyin Lim, Senior Director – Global Content Acquisition, Sony Interactive Entertainment
  • Secretary – Michele Edelman, Executive Vice President – Marketing & Content Strategy, Vubiquity
  • Treasurer – Matt Hill, Head of Vendor Management, Amazon

EMA past chairmen Bob Geistman, Executive Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Ingram Entertainment, and Marty Graham, Senior Vice President, comScore, as well as Bill Kotzman, Partner Product Manager - TV/Film, Google/YouTube, will also serve on the association’s Executive Committee as at-large members.

Membership comprises the full spectrum of retailers, distributors, the home video divisions of major and independent motion picture and television studios, video game publishers, and other related businesses that constitute and support the $40 billion home entertainment industry.

EMA’s activities include presenting conferences, networking, and information sharing opportunities, developing and promoting industry standards, specifications, and best practices, engaging with government entities, and producing an annual report on the industry.

EMA was established in April 2006 through the merger of the Video Software Dealers Association (VSDA), founded in 1981, and the Interactive Entertainment Merchants Association (IEMA), organized in 1997.
