Tracy Wright
Director of Global Content Operations
Netflix
Tracy Wright is the Director of Global Content Operations at Netflix and manages operations and quality control for the streaming catalog in over 40 countries. Her Netflix journey began in 2007 as a DVD buyer, but in a year shifted into operations; that path led to Director of DVD Operations in 2011. In that time, Tracy streamlined DVD operations while adding support to the domestic digital catalog. By the end of 2011, she focused solely on the growing Streaming Operations business, successfully managing the U.S. catalog, launching Netflix Originals content and overseeing the development of new workflow tools. In recognition of her accomplishments she was promoted into her current role where she leads the effort to scale the digital supply chain globally with a focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Prior to joining Netflix, Tracy was a distribution team manager at Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) responsible for the efficient replenishment of all Walmart, Best Buy and Sam's Club stores — over 50% of SPHE’s home entertainment business. With her passion for music, she has also previously held a career in music retail. In her ten years with Wherehouse Music, she went from being a store manager in Tallahassee to District Manager in Atlanta and then Regional Product Manager. In 2003, she made the move to the Virgin Megastore chain based in Los Angeles where, as a Replenishment Analyst, she managed the music and video catalog inventory for stores in the L.A., Miami, Dallas and New Orleans markets. Tracy holds a Social Sciences BS from Florida State University.
