Bill Mandel is Vice President, Technology and Digital Platforms. He is responsible for varied technology issues across the studio’s businesses. His primary focus is to addresses technical diligence, quality and content protection issues for worldwide film licensing and sell-through businesses. He has extensive experience in digital products both packaged and electronic from DVD and Blu-ray to Electronic sell-through, VOD and various digital initiatives the studio has been involved with.
Prior to Universal Bill has held several positions in the Aerospace Industry related to systems engineering, signal processing design and software development. Graduated with MSEE from USC in 1989.
