FORMAT
The Tournament will be an 18-hole scramble with a shotgun start. Accordingly, everyone in a group will hit a tee shot. Then the best shot is selected and everyone plays from that spot. This process is repeated until the ball is holed. Should there be three players in a group, one player will hit two tee shots. Then, another player hits two approach shots. Then the third hits two shots, and so on. Each team will note one score for each hole. Scoring is on the honor system.
Mulligans (maximum two) may be used, if purchased as part of the Championship Package, except for the contest shots on Holes 2, 8, 11, 12, and 15, and 17.
Please mark your official team scorecard with your gross score per hole and turn it into the Pro Shop at the completion of your round.
RULES
USGA Rules govern all play along with the following local rules:
- Environmentally sensitive areas (habitats) adjacent to fairways must not be entered and must be
played as lateral hazards.
- GPS will provide distance to the pin, while most sprinkler heads are marked to the center of the green.
- Please fix your divots with the sand provided, and fix all ball marks on greens.
- Drop areas are provided across the hazards on holes 5, 8, 10, and 13.
- Men will play from the WHITE tee markers; women will play from the RED.
Please observe all course rules:
- One set of clubs per player is required.
- Proper golf attire required.
- Men: Collared shirts, slacks or shorts (Bermuda length), no denim materials of any type.
- Women: Non-collared shirts must have sleeves, collared shirts may be worn with sleeves or
sleeveless, no denim materials of any type.
- Proper golf footwear is required. Trump National is a soft spike facility; metal spikes/cleats are
prohibited.
- Please leave the putting green as soon as you have holed.
CONTESTS
In addition to awards for the low gross team score foursome, the Tournament features various contests (list to be announced soon.)
Note: You must purchase the Championship Package to participate in the Longest Drive, Longest Putt, Closest to the Pin, and Hole in One contests.
LAES Cup Challenge
Open to all studio and publisher sponsors, the winning team will be determined using the average score of all the foursomes that include a player from that company.
