Attention EMA Retail Members: Be part of the effort to educate and remind consumers that unauthorized downloading of movies is not only morally wrong - - it is a crime!
We've seen how widespread illegal downloading impacted the music industry. We must not let a similar fate befall the home video industry. Reminding consumers that internet piracy is a crime is having positive results, but we need to keep the message strong and repeat it often.One way that members can help with this effort is to place posters, counter cards or window clings in their stores that carry this message.
The MPAA and EMA will provide posters, counter cards and clings, like the ones shown above, to all retailers who request them at no charge. Click the images above to view larger versions.
